tons of AI researchers are quitting 🚩
how come they're leaving?

A wave of public resignations just hit OpenAI, Anthropic, and xAI. These aren't career moves. Researchers are warning the public about existential risks they say leadership is actively ignoring. All while models start showing autonomous improvement capabilities and companies sprint toward IPOs.

what are they so worried about?

Anthropic researcher Mrinank Sharma resigned saying the world is in peril, citing cases where safety teams were pressured to overlook AI and bioweapons risks. At OpenAI, Zoë Hitzig left over concerns about AI manipulating users in ways current tools can't detect.

OpenAI then disbanded its mission alignment team entirely. Anthropic itself published a report admitting catastrophic risks exist, including AI aiding chemical weapons production without oversight.

ByteDance just broke AI video 🎥
👀 hold on, how good are we talking?

Really good. Seedance 2.0 just dropped and it's going viral. 2K resolution clips that beat Sora and Veo in practical testing. Users can feed it up to twelve prompts mixing images, audio, and text to build cohesive fifteen second stories. 30% faster processing than the last version. Chinese media stocks surged on the news.

...and the deepfake problem?

Already here. The model holds character consistency so well that AI celebrity deepfakes exploded overnight. ByteDance had to suspend a feature that cloned voices from a single photo. Hollywood is sounding alarms. Even Musk weighed in on how fast it's moving. Western labs are now playing catch up.

👀 weekly challenge: use AI to make your tweets go viral
what's the challenge?

Ever feel like your social media posts are shouting into a void? This week, we are going to fix that by using professional AI writing tools to craft a viral post.

🎯 Step 1: Pick your winning topic Think of one thing you know more about than the average person. It could be a hobby, a work hack, or even a review of a new gadget.

✍️ Step 2: Fire up the AI engine Head over to TweetHunter (they offer a 7-day free trial, don’t forget to cancel!) and navigate to the AI writing section. This is where the magic happens.

🧠 Step 3: Prompt for engagement Use the AI writing feature to generate a thread outline. Instead of just asking for a "post," ask the AI to "hook the reader in the first sentence" and "summarize the key takeaway at the end."

🎨 Step 4: Add your personal touch Read through the AI generated text and swap out one or two sentences for something that sounds more like you. AI is great for structure, but your unique voice is the secret sauce.

🚀 Step 5: Launch and learn Post your thread and watch the engagement. Even if it does not go viral instantly, you have just learned how to use a digital ghostwriter to amplify your ideas.

Are you more excited about the cinematic possibilities of AI video, or more worried about the researchers leaving the labs? We would love to hear your take on the speed of these advances.
