Claude just became #1 in the app store 👑
it's ahead of ChatGPT now?

Anthropic's Claude just overtook ChatGPT as the #1 free app on Apple's U.S. App Store. The timing isn't a coincidence. A growing backlash against OpenAI's Pentagon partnership has millions of users seeking alternatives.

what happened?

The "quitGPT" movement (or meme, depending on how you see it) blew up on Instagram and Reddit after OpenAI deployed its tech on classified military networks. Anthropic leaned into the contrast, and CEO Dario Amodei publicly warned against AI enabling mass surveillance. The company actually lost its own Pentagon contract after refusing to ease safety guardrails.

Your AI tools are only as good as your prompts.

Most people type short, lazy prompts because writing detailed ones takes forever. The result? Generic outputs.

Wispr Flow lets you speak your prompts instead of typing them. Talk through your thinking naturally - include context, constraints, examples - and Flow gives you clean text ready to paste. No filler words. No cleanup.

Works inside ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, and every other AI tool you use. System-level integration means zero setup.

Millions of users worldwide. Teams at OpenAI, Vercel, and Clay use Flow daily. Now available on Mac, Windows, iPhone, and Android - free and unlimited on Android during launch.

X penalizes unlabeled AI war footage 🎬
👀 what's the deal?

Starting this month, creators who post AI generated conflict footage without a visible label get suspended from X's revenue sharing for 90 days. Second offense? Permanent ban from monetization. No appeal.

....but, why now?

Fake war footage has gone viral repeatedly during real conflicts, misleading millions. While X has relaxed many of its misinformation rules over the last few years, synthetic combat videos appear to have crossed a line that even Elon's "free speech" platform can't ignore.

👀 weekly challenge: use the power of the context window
what's the challenge?

This week, we are going to use the power of the top LLMs context windows to make complex data easily digestible.

Here’s what to do

📂 Step 1: Find your target document Grab a PDF that you have been avoiding because it is too long or too dry.

Step 2: Upload to the cloud Open Claude, Gemini, or ChatGPT and look for the paperclip icon to upload your file.

🧠 Step 3: Ask for the hidden gems Instead of just asking for a summary, give it a specific mission. Try: "Identify the three most surprising facts in this document and explain them to me like I am a high school student."

💬 Step 4: Test your knowledge Ask your LLM to generate a five question quiz based on the document to see how much you actually learned. It is a great way to ensure you are not just skim reading.

🚀 Step 5: Turn it into action Finally, ask Claude to create a one page "cheat sheet" of action items based on the text. You will have turned hours of reading into a five minute victory.

Will ethical stances become the main differentiator for AI companies in the long run? And, has X done enough to curb deepfake AI videos? We'd love to hear your thoughts!
